It’s often said that pets can reflect the behavior and emotions of their owners. If you’re happy and playful, chances are your pet will be too.
If you are bored out of your mind, well, the same can go for your pet. What happens when you are left alone? How about left alone in a closet every night?
First, you’d probably be a little upset. You may even try and get a little revenge. Then again, you might just be bored out of your mind when you get up at 5:00 AM with the sun and feel the need to wake others up…especially those who have put you in your quiet space or closet, to begin with.
This special little furry friend gets up every morning at 5:00 AM. The owner doesn’t even need to set an alarm.
Every day, the owner can count on his furry little friend, his cat named Boo, to wake him up.
Of course, wouldn’t you wake up your owner too if you were bored out of your mind?
This cat might feel a little need for attention.
However, you’ll be surprised to learn how Boo reaches out to the owner every morning to let him know that it’s time to get up!
This cat, Boo, behaves just like a toddler. Similar to a child who wakes up early and wants to play with adults, Boo acts like a toddler stuck in a closet, seeking attention. So, Boo has found something that will make a bit of noise, perhaps even be a tad annoying to you, especially at 5:00 AM.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I’m hoping this little furry friend has a litter box, a bowl of water and a little food to get by.
While I find Boo’s antics with the doorstopper amusing, I wouldn’t want to be stuck in a closet alone all night, every night. I mean, what’s the point of having a cat or any pet if you’re just going to confine them to a closet by themselves?
All pets hate to be alone. Sure this guy thinks this is probably funny and it is, but did he ever stop to think how he’d feel if the situation were reversed?
Cats are very sensitive to emotions, sound, and stress. This owner may even be breaking this cat’s spirit by putting Boo in the closet, alone every night. Boo might even feel slightly abandoned. I would.
So, while this guy may find entertainment every morning at 5:00 AM with Boo playing with the doorstop, seriously, dude… let the cat out of the closet. Let Boo feel like he’s more a part of the family than just an animal confined in a cage, desperate for attention every morning.
By not getting your attention, your interaction and/or playtime or affection your cat may become confused.
Boo and pets in general simply desire gestures of kindness in return for their unwavering devotion.
