An ex-Clinton adviser named Neera Tanden thought she would post a ha-ha about part of Rupert Murdoch’s estate burning down in a California wildfire yesterday. “There’s a God. And she’s unhappy,” Tanden wrote, reacting to the news that a man’s beloved home was just potentially incinerated. She claimed her so-called joke was not said out of malice, but because of karma. Which means that since Murdoch is the CEO of Fox News, he deserves this. I’m not a huge fan of Rupert Murdoch. Both he and his sons are far too liberal for my tastes, but no one deserves this. Shame on Tanden for putting that out there.
It just figures it would be someone connected to the Clintons and the Obamas that would say something like this. She helped both of their campaigns. Tanden runs the Center for American Progress which is a Soros-connected group as well. She also delivered a speech at the 2016 Democratic National Convention. Tanden deleted the tweet after receiving massive backlash over it. Today, 200,000 Californians are fleeing for their lives as hurricane force winds blast Los Angeles driving the fires into the expensive countryside there. Thousands are having their lives ruined right before their eyes and Tanden took time to joke about it. Unbelievable.
This is a news commentator that is on the air frequently on various liberal news shows. And her tweet shows that she’s a raging feminist as well. She was asked by a Twitter user, “You seriously hope that your political appointees have their homes burned down?” In response, think tank leader claimed no malice, just the embrace of “karma.” Gee, did she embrace ‘karma’ when the Hildabeast lost and Trump won? I highly doubt it. When she deleted her ill-conceived tweet, she said she felt “badly about it.” I highly doubt that. “I’m deleting this tweet. It wasn’t funny when so many are hurting and scared. Feel badly about it,” Tanden posted later.
Tanden then dropped the subject, not responding to any criticism of her “joke.” But she let her viciousness show and it is telling. She obviously feels that Rupert Murdoch’s house and vineyard catching alight in a wildfire burning near Los Angeles’ Bel Air neighborhood was a vengeful act of God. It’s not, but it is spurned on by liberal EPA policies in California. And no, this isn’t global warming either. It has to do with El Nina and weather patterns that are common this time of year there. Local media reported that flames were emanating from Moraga Estate, a palatial $30 million home and vineyard owned by the Fox media mogul.
You seriously hope that your political appointees have their homes burned down? Classless!

The 50-acre blaze, called the Skirball fire for its proximity to the Skirball Cultural Center, has closed part of Interstate 405, a major thoroughfare through the city. Murdoch’s vineyard has been scorched according to reports. Flames fanned by strong winds reached a temperature-controlled wine storage shed on the mogul’s Moraga Vineyards estate on Wednesday after destroying at least six properties in Bel-Air and threatening hundreds more. Firefighters backed by helicopters were unable to stop flames reaching Murdoch’s estate, a 2.8 hectare property he bought for $28.8 million in 2013.
The estate has been evacuated. The house so far appears undamaged, but today will be an even worse day for these fires. This wildfire and others are still raging out of control. “We are monitoring the situation as closely as we can and are grateful for the efforts of all the first responders,” Murdoch said in a statement. “Some of our neighbors have suffered heavy losses and our thoughts and prayers are with them at this time.” This is just horrific no matter who you are or what your politics are.
I do not hope for such things at all. I just note the Karma.

The growing fire was nearing several A-listers mansions including Paris Hilton, Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Garner, Maria Shriver and Heidi Klums’. Paris Hilton took to Instagram sharing an inferno looking shot: “This wild fire in LA is terrifying! This literally looks like Hell! My house is now being evacuated to get all of my pets out of there safely,” she captioned the shot while also thanking the firefighters helping to battle the blaze.
And of course, liberals are blaming President Trump as they flee from the wildfire. Outspoken comedian Chelsea Handler shared she just evacuated, tweeting: “Just evacuated my house. It’s like Donald Trump is setting the world on fire. Literally and figuratively. Stay safe everyone. Dark times.” No, Chelsea… he’s not and he doesn’t wish anything bad even on the likes of you. Unlike Tanden, he doesn’t rejoice in the misery of others. You could learn from that, but you won’t.
I’m deleting this tweet. It wasn’t funny when so many are hurting and scared. Feel badly about it.
