What else did you expect from a gemstone heiress?
Victoria Swarovski, 23, famous Austrian singer and heir to the Swarvoski gemstone empire married her property mogul, Werner Mürz in a very lavish wedding in Trieste, Italy over the weekend.
Jewels! Jewels! Jewels! Talk about STUNNING and DAZZLING!
It was not only ALL about the dress…but ALL about the gems too!
The heiress utilized what seemed to be all of her family’s speciality gems when creating her wedding gown. She looked like a fairy tale princess in her embroidered gown of over a half a million crystals.
The beautifully sculptured 46kg dress was designed by the famous Dubai-based Filipino designer, Michael Cinco. Cinco has desiged for celebrities like J Lo, Naomi Campbell and Lady Gaga, to name a few.
The gown reportedly cost over £700,000 and came embellished with 500,000 Swarovski crystals, paillete and laser-cut flowers.
The A-line style dress featured an opulent skirt and a sheer bodice covered in delicate appliqués along the neckline and sleeves.
She offset her stunning tulle and lace designer dress, which came with an eight-meter veil and train, with Jimmy Choo heels.
The ceremony was held at the cathedral of San Giusto, Trieste. Victoria was walked down the aisle by her father, Paul Swarovoski.
The couple exchanged vows in front of about 250 guests which included close family and friends. The special event was stretched over 3 days in Italy.
The singer posted a photo kissing the groom after her wedding writing, “I said YES to the love of my life!”
They kicked off the luxurious weekend with a ‘pasta and love’ welcome dinner at The Piazetta at the Falisia Resort and Spa the night before the wedding.
Following the wedding ceremony, a reception took place 20km from the church at the lavish five-star resort of Hotel Falisia in Portopiccolo.
The venue was, of course, decorated with thousands of Swarovski crystals by event designer Sabine Königsberger.
The couple had a lavish five-tier wedding cake and enjoyed a spectacular firework display with a night of dancing.
The evening event had a red and white theme. Victoria changed into a second outfit for the evening, a Michael Cinco crystallized red high-low gown for the bash.
After the ceremony, the guests attended a farewell brunch the following morning, with the newlyweds at the Beach Club in Portopiccolo.
The new couple currently are enjoying a lavish honeymoon around France on a superyacht.
During her French honeymoon in Saint Tropez Victoria wrote that she’s never been happier.
“Can’t tell you how happy I am????… thank you so much to everyone for your kind words feel so blessed,” she wrote.
