This is exactly the kind of action by citizens it’s going to take more of to demostrate to terrorist that Britain’s citizens are going to not take their attacks sitting down. Enough is enough. More and more British citizens need to speak up and fight back. It’s time for British patriotism to be on display. That is the only way, besides electing new leaders to stop the flood of illegal immigrants and terrorists into the country, to win the war on terrorism.
Recently, three terrorists, Khuram Butt, Rachid Redouane, and Youssef Zaghba used a white van to deliberately mow down people on the London Bridge and in Borough Market. The terror and rampage resulted in 8 killed and at least 50 others wounded.
Reflecting back, it seems there were several opportunities to stop these terrorists, but the authorities failed to intervene in time.
However, one gentleman who did intervene that night of the bloody rampage on London Bridge and Borough Market, was a gentleman by the name of Roy Larner. Roy fought back. What’s amazing about Larner is, he not only fought back, but he only used his fists against the 3 knife-wielding terrorists that night. His story is quite amazing.
It seems the incident took place at the Black and Blue steakhouse on Saturday night. The 3 terrorists rushed into the restaurant and yelled, “Islam! Islam! This is for Allah!”
Larner told the newspaper,
“Like an idiot, I shouted back at them. I thought,
‘I need to take the p*** out of these b******s’.”
“I took a few steps towards them and said, ‘F*** you, I’m Millwall’. So they started attacking me.”
Mr Larner added:
“I stood in front of them trying to fight them off. Everyone else ran to the back.
“I was on my own against all three of them, that’s why I got hurt so much.
“It was just me, trying to grab them with my bare hands and hold on. I was swinging.
“I got stabbed and sliced eight times. They got me in my head, chest and both hands. There was blood everywhere.
“They were saying, ‘Islam, Islam!’. I said again, ‘F*** you, I’m Millwall!’
“It was the worst thing I could have done as they carried on attacking me.
“Luckily, none of the blows were straight at me or I’d be dead.”
Mr. Larner, added the attackers eventually “ran out of the pub and legged it”.
Today, Roy Larner is being a hailed a hero and rightly so. How many men do you know, who would stand up against 3 knife-wielding terrorists using only their bare hands as weapons? I would say, very few.
Larner is a 47-year-old Millwall fan who, because of his actions, allowed several others – including women and children – to escape. His fans are launching a petition for him to receive the George Cross medal for his actions that night at the Black and Blue steakhouse.
On social media, Larner now has a strong fan base that refer to him as ‘The Lion of London Bridge’. Seems appropriate since the Millwall Football Club’s nickname is none other than, the Lions. Evidently the fans of the Lions have a standing vow – not to duck fights.
Mr. Larner’s mother said, Roy is “quite nippy and lippy and wouldn’t back down from a fight”. I’d say his mother, certainly knows Roy well, doesn’t she?
Thanks to Roy Larner’s bravery, others at the Black and Blue steakhouse lived to talk about it, and walked away that night, uninjured by the terrorists. Larner stood up, like the Millwall fan that he is, and didn’t duck the fight. He proudly stood and battled single-handedly these jihadi terrorists.
I’d say the Millwall Lions should make Roy Larner a special or honorary player on their team to honor him for his bravery as the ‘Lion of London Bridge’.
Currently Roy Larner is recovering in St. Thomas’ Hospital. Larner suffered eight wounds including a punctured lung, as well as, stab wounds to his arms and hands and an eight inch slash from his ear to neck.
We certainly wish Roy Larner a speedy recovery. And certainly if you’d like to sign the petition for Roy Larner to be honored with the George Cross for bravery just click here.
